Dr Wassim Shamsuddin is a UK-trained Consultant Anaesthetist with specialist interests in endocrine, paediatric, orthopaedic, general and ENT anaesthesia, critical care transfer, trauma, and event medicine. He holds senior leadership roles across NHS acute, ambulance, and specialised commissioning services and has extensive experience in clinical governance, service development, and large-scale system redesign. 

He combines frontline clinical practice with executive-level medical leadership, with a portfolio spanning hospital-based anaesthesia, ambulance service patient safety, regional critical care transfer strategy, and international mass participation event medicine.
